The Ruck smoke box fan (MPS DF series) features a frequency-controlled motor mounted outside the airflow, preventing dirty or contaminated air of up to 200 °C from passing through the motor. The fan is capable of handling temporary peaks of up to 400 °C, making it especially suitable for the catering industry or applications involving grease. It requires operation via a frequency converter, which can optionally be adjusted using a variable potentiometer.
