The Ruck smoke box fan (MPS DF series) is equipped with a frequency-driven motor positioned outside the air stream. This design ensures that any dirty or contaminated air or gas up to 200 °C does not pass through the motor. The fan can even withstand short-term temperatures up to 400 °C. Due to this feature, the smoke box fan with motor outside the air stream is commonly used in the catering industry or in environments with grease. Note: operation requires a frequency converter, which can optionally be controlled via a variable potentiometer.
