The Ruck smoke box fan (MPC DFT series) features a frequency-driven, three-phase motor mounted outside the airflow. This design ensures that any contaminated air, including grease or smoke, does not pass through the motor. The fan is capable of continuous operation at 200 °C and can withstand temperatures up to 400 °C for short periods (120 minutes). This makes it ideal for extraction applications in the catering industry. Note: operation requires a frequency converter, which can optionally be adjusted using a variable potentiometer.
