The Ruck smoke box fan (MPC DFT series) features a frequency-driven three-phase motor mounted outside the air stream. This design ensures that dirty and contaminated air, including grease or smoke, does not pass through the motor. The fan is capable of continuous operation at 200°C and can handle short-term peaks of up to 400°C for 120 minutes. Because of these features, it is widely used for extraction in catering environments. Please note: operation requires a frequency converter, which can optionally be controlled via a variable potentiometer.
