FBDS1100 BIO-70-222 is a double-sided built-in bioethanol fireplace that uses the manufacturer's own Slimline 800 burner unit, providing up to 8 hours of burn time on a single fill of bioethanol. FBDS1100 offers a chic design and easy installation in both new and existing walls, where the fireplace can be seen from two rooms as both sides of the fireplace are open.

A Slimline fireplace in a class of its own This bioethanol fireplace is double-sided, allowing the flames to be visible from two rooms simultaneously. This effect is also known as a see-through, as you can look straight through the fireplace and see what is happening on the other side of the wall. This bioethanol fireplace is also excellent for installation in a room divider and provides up to 5.4 kW of heat, making it suitable as a supplementary heat source. For example, you can lower your central heating a bit and let the bioethanol fireplace handle the rest of the work.

Is bioethanol environmentally friendly?

The FBDS1100 bioethanol fireplace burns on bioethanol. Bioethanol is an extremely environmentally friendly and sustainable energy source that does not produce smoke or soot when burned. This also has some advantages in terms of installation, as there is no need for a chimney or vent with a fireplace that relies on bioethanol as fuel. Bioethanol is also CO2-neutral since the plant material from which ethanol is produced absorbs a certain amount of CO2 from the atmosphere during cultivation, which is released back into nature when bioethanol burns. Therefore, bioethanol does not create pollution, and the CO2 balance ends up at zero.
