Helty Flow 400 Steel (R) Decentralised Commercial MVHR System for Schools & Offices

Helty Flow400 Steel Ventilation Unit (R Model)

Core Advantage: Simplified, Clean Installation and Quick Retrofitting

• Minimal Structural Impact: This decentralised ventilation system does not require long, bulky ductwork throughout the space. Installation requires drilling just two 200 mm diameter holes through the exterior wall (2x Ø200 mm).

• Significant Cost Savings: Eliminates the budget needed for ductwork design, materials, and installation, as well as the need to hide ducting behind drywall or suspended ceilings.

• Fast Commissioning: Installation takes minimal time and avoids long operational downtime, making it ideal for active commercial or residential spaces.

• Ideal for Finished Interiors (Retrofit): With a compact depth of just 22 cm (222 mm), the unit easily integrates into fully renovated rooms or buildings undergoing modernization.

• Flexible Placement: The sturdy steel casing of the Steel model is designed for exposed mounting on either walls or ceilings, seamlessly blending into modern interiors.

Detailed Overview of Capabilities and Technological Features

• High Performance and Flexible Airflow Control:

  • Wide airflow adjustment range: from 80 to 400 m³/h.

  • Multiple operating modes: ultra-quiet Night Mode, 4 standard speeds for everyday comfort, and a Hyperventilation (Boost) mode for rapid airing out.

• Advanced Energy Efficiency and Recovery:

  • Enthalpic Counterflow Heat Exchanger: Recovers both sensible heat (up to 92% thermal efficiency) and moisture, preventing indoor air from drying out in winter and reducing the cooling load on air conditioning during summer.

  • Energy Efficiency Class: A+ (Cold climate) / A (Temperate climate) / E (Warm climate).

  • Specific Energy Consumption (SEC): -40 kWh/(m²·year) for temperate climates.

• Quiet Operation and Acoustic Comfort:

  • Engineered aerodynamics and sound insulation keep noise down to 22 dB(A) at minimum speed (virtually imperceptible to the human ear).

  • At nominal design airflow, noise level remains low at 35 dB(A), making it suitable for classrooms, offices, and bedrooms.

• Multi-Stage Air Filtration and Monitoring:

  • Supply Air: Dual-stage filtration. Primary filtration via a Coarse 80% (G3) filter traps larger dust and debris, followed by a high-efficiency ePM1 80% (F9) filter that captures up to 80% of fine particulate matter (including pollen, allergens, soot, and PM2.5/PM1 micro-dust).

  • Extract Air: Coarse 80% (G3) filter protects internal components and the heat exchanger from indoor dust.

  • Smart Monitoring: A built-in differential pressure sensor continuously monitors filter clogging and alerts you when maintenance or replacement is required.
