It is easy to detach the globe from the base so that the fireplace can be easily packed down and moved to for example a cottage.
If you're in doubt, this fireplace was designed in such a way that it can be either a free-standing or ceiling mounted one. It was designed so clever that it can be transformed from free-standing into the ceiling mounted fireplace. The only thing you need to do is to buy a pole to mount it to the ceiling.
After some time the top of the fire will change a colour a bit because of the heat that the steel is exposed to.
